OPEN LETTER TO NYC POLICE COMMISSIONER

• DOT-DOT-DOT...When you said to me, many years ago, that you were interested in seeing our Racism/Colorism Quotient Test - and I hand-delivered it to you at one of those 'make-em-feel-good' community-police gatherings, I naively said to myself, "Oh, he's going to do something about testing his NYPD cops for their pathological responses to differences in culture and color!"

I was wrong, I failed at that time to connect the dots - but now I know

better:

• You were Director of Customs when WhistleBlower Cathy Harris reported your arrogant racist/colorist mismanagement of that government outfit as it colorTargeted Black female travelers in this nation's airports in her telling book, "Flying While Black;"* (it was your agents who handcuffed a pregnant Black woman to that hospital bed!)
• Your NYPD (Bratton-BernardKerik-type) cops were sent to the Black nation of Haiti to 'teach Haitian police' - what? - good ol' boy repressive NYPD tactics?
• Your NYPD thug-in-blue the late Reggie Rivera was involved in the rapes of Black African van drivers in Queens [Federal Judge David Trager had that case, which was (thanks to yours truly) written up in the international newspaper The Economist];
• Amadou Diallo, Patrick Dorismond, Nicholas Heyward, Jr., Malcom Ferguson, Ousmane Zongo, Timothy Stansbury, Sean Bell, Timur Person - all slaughtered by your cops (HOW COME YOUR COPS DON'T SHOOT WHITE MALES IN THE BACK LIKE THEY DID NATHANIEL GAINES, JR., DESMOND ROBINSON AND 16 YR OLD KEVIN CEDENO?) - too many to recount here, but if your NYPD records are not complete you have my permission to refer to the 'October 22 Coalition' book "Stolen Lives;"
• Your NYPD cops INVADED that HARLEM MOSQUE - eh? - how many white churches or Jewish synagogues have they invaded? -
• It's under your mis-guidance that the too-pervasive use of those PORTABLE JAILBARS have shown up - mostly in the Black neighborhoods - to 'contain' marchers whenever & wherever we assemble;
• It's your police check traffic barricades which are set up in mostly Black (and other people of color) neighborhoods;
• It's under your tenure that your blue-suits are sent into our public schools - imposing early intimidation onto our young Black children;
• It's your 'side-kick Department' the CCRB ("Civilian" Complaint Review Board) which has just THROWN OUT IN ONE-DAMN-DAY, EIGHT-HUNDRED - 800 800 800! COMPLAINTS!
• Now you're so intent on 'containing' people of color - that you're bringing back THE SLAVE CODES - "...no more than 10? individuals can assemble in public..." - the late great William Kunstler's prediction of our becoming a Police State is realized under you;

AAAGH! I can't go on with this NYPD 'Death List" - Heil Hitler!

(But don't think for a moment that that hoaxy-RED-HERRING-last-minute-interjection of 'a threatened' witness in the 'Black Male Sean Bell 50 Shots' case fools us BlackFolk!)

Suffice it to say that when you go up to try to get into Heaven, St. Peter will say, "Because you didn't have your NYPD cops tested for their pathological responses to differences in culture and color, I'm refusing you entry into Heaven: My Decision Is Justified! - like you've said so many times about the killings of so many Black males."

Dear Cardinal Egan:

Among other precedents set by the Catholic Church was the brave acknowledgement and apology for involvement in the enslavement and extermination of Africans and Native Americans.

Another brave and compelling action by your Church would be -as I suggested in my unanswered letter to Bishop DiMarzio of 2/1/07 - to cause a Study to prove or disprove allegationss that most of the NYPD cops who've been killing mostly Black males, have been white male Catholic police officers.

I have relatives who are Catholic and the thought that the allegations about Catholic NYPD police are true is making them very uncomfortable - understandably.

But, if the research supports the escalating allegations, certainly the reasons for the preponderance of such racist/colorist behavior should be determined and dealt with in a professional and forthright manner, (and an apology would not be remiss) so as to help heal the antagonism between communitites of color and the New York City Police Department.

I enclose my letter (a copy) to Bishop DiMarzio, FYI.

I understand that this is a thorny issue - untreated racism/colorism, but, as Law Professor Lani Guinier so aptly put it, "We need to put racism in this country on the front burner so as to be able to deal with it in a forthright manner."

For more than 20 years (spare time) I have been Founder/President of The Institute for "Interracial" Harmony, Incorporated, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit charitable New York City organization. "Prejudice Is Learned - It Can Be Unlearned," is our Motto, reflective of our sustained campaign to prevent, counteract and heal pervasive institutionalized racism/colorism which continues to erode the fabric of our society and causes individuals to actually lose their lives (especially with the racist/colorist death penalty). For America, and, for that matter, the world, to become more effective in dealing with huemanity, the healing we do on a local level must be expanded to embrace everyone. I invented the concept of racism/colorism-testing (including the term "colorism") with the Racism/Colorism Quotient Test, which Dr. Mari Saunders, Ph.D. then developed. We have also contructed the Racism/Colorism Quotient Test Program with Follow-up Discussion (in a non-threatening atmosphere) and have administered it to members of the public, classes of students, a college President, the Director of a Sociology Department, New York Supreme Court judges, a Human Rights Commission, MultiCultural Advisory Committees ('AllColor Report 2000' available upon request), newspapers, including The Village Voice of New York, 1992 - where fully one third of the (international) 4000 liberal-readership respondents were found to be dysfunctional in their responses to color and cultural differences.

Long before I became the First Black U.S.A. Flight Attendant, breaking the color barrier of the U.S.A. airlines, I saw the need for social change with respect to valuing the content of a person's character and respecting the form in which that character is cloaked.

We continue to build (with out-of-pocket personal monies and in spare time) The Institute for
Interracial" Harmony, Inc. (the quotations marks are used because there is only one race - the hueman one - but many colors and cultures, so there's no 's' at the end of the word 'race;' there is no meaning to words such as "interracial," "biracial," "transracial," "multi-racial," [did you see that category in the new Census?] "people of different races," or "out of her/his race!")

One hueman race - starting (DNA studies've revealed) Black and in Africa - so if folk are thinking analytically and correctly, they must arrive at the undeniable conclusion that: all huemans are "...of African descent!"

We developed the concept of testing individuals (R/CQT) in non-threatening arenas as a catalytic tool to, as Law Professor Dr. Lani Guinier has said, "...put the issue of racism (colorism) on the front burner in America so as to be able to deal with it in a forthright manner."

I have instilled my desire for equity in my two children, one of whom, my son Laurence, has pledged to carry on the work of the Intstitute when I am no longer able to continue developing strategies for promoting the prevention and healing of untreated racism/colorism. Our major challenge is communicating the dire need for our nation to end the epidemic denial of the deleterious effects of racism/colorism (like 'racial' - we call it 'color'-profiling) and conveying the fact that our Racism/Colorism Quotient Test Program (with Follow-up psychological/psychiatric counseling) is a compelling solution to the problem which affects every area of people activity.

Finally, we must ensure that every school, education organization, political and social group, can recognize how its individuals, through no fault of their own, have been conditioned by an institutionally racist/colorist society. Our proven methodology for undoing that conditioning and introducing positive change in their lives is now readily available so that we can expand the healing, help to remove the 'blame' syndrome and prevent people from losing their lives and their jobs, (alcoholics can no longer be fired if they accept counseling) by encouraging corporations (especially police departments with their life-and-death powers) to offer our R/CQT Program (for dysfunctional responses to color and cultural differences) instead of costly suits and dismissals.

You'll need to step only a little way outta' y'all's comfort zones:

1. Spend some PENNIES whenever you handle money - and say why you're using PENNIES (ConsumerPower) "THIS IS A PROTEST AGAINST THE IRAQ INVASION - I WANT IT TO END!" and 2. Tell 5 relatives/friends about PENNIES FOR PEACE to do the same thing!

The PENNY-DEMONSTRATORS SHOULDN'T STOP until the announcement's made by The 'Decider' in The White House that "...the U.S.A. is pulling out of Iraq immediately!"

"PENNY POWER" worked for the Aam Clayton Powell, Jr. Campaign for Black Jobs on 125th Street in Harlem, New York; PENNY POWER worked to get the 'Dollar Vans' on Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn, New York 'legitimized' in spite of opposition by the recalcitrant Mayor Giuliani.

Pennies are Legal Tender and in spite of New York City's Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) lettering on buses about 'no pennies,' actually, any transaction calling for consumer spending of cash has to allow/accept Legal Tender - PENNIES and all!

If the various organizations (especially those affiliated with www.UnitedForPeaceandJustice.org - just check out the huge number of those!) against the Iraq Invasion, which so many people euphemize as "war," would all coalesce -come together to publicize the PENNIES FOR PEACE campaign, Wall Street itself would move to pressure Congress and the white House to end the Invasion in one week. (Businesses in this country could not withstand a 'FLOOD OF PENNIES' even for one week! - and only some of the populace would have to become involved for the campaign to work - the fear of being arrested at demonstrations which keeps millions at home would be removed)

If anyone needs persuading that PENNIES FOR PEACE would be effective - they should just picture ordinary 'war haters' who drive, using some (not many!) PENNIES for the bridge tolls (GRIDLOCK, BABY!); folk buying tokens for transport systems with PENNIES (some, not even many!)(TRAIN & BUS SCHEDULES OFF!); THOUSANDS of sports fans who want the U.S.A. out of Iraq, paying for their tickets with (some-not a lot) PENNIES (HOWLING LINES OF FANS!), drivers in Traffic Court - paying their fines with PENNIES (some, not all) (PURE CHAOS!); patrons paying for groceries with (only some - not all) PENNIES FOR PEACE! OUCH!

You get the picture, the U.S.A. cannot and could not (even for one week!)withstand a protracted PENNIES FOR PEACE Campaign by tired-of-payingBILLIONS-for- invasions/wars folk.

Simple? YES. Safe? YES. Inexpensive?(no NEED to expend millions on marches to D.C.!) YES. Effective? YES! Doable? YES! Righteous? ABSOLUTELY!

I personally want to see the end of the deaths of thousands of Iraqi children and women and men - I would like to see the end of the deaths of U.SA. and other soldiers who've been sent overseas to kill and be killed and maimed in the name of some specious "patriarchy!"

As John Lennon and Yoko Ono always said, it's way past time to - "Give Peace A Chance!"

For young Black men, any chance crossing of paths with cops can mean a close brush with death. Almost on a daily basis, we hear of another case of police brutality occurring somewhere in the country in which state-sanctioned violence has been officially explained away as reasonable or justified when employed against an African-American male. Even the most seemingly inexcusable examples of homicide, such as the killing of Amadou Diallo in a hail of 41 bullets by a squad of reckless detectives in front of his own home, have been deemed to be fully in accordance with proper police procedure.

What then, can one do to ensure that a loved one not end up the next statistic? Unless, like Michael Jackson, you are inclined to undergo a radical blackendectomy, I heartily recommend reading a copy of The Little Black Book to anyone considering venturing outside while still inside Black skin.

This handy, pocket-size police encounter survival guide was strategically designed by its author, Carol Taylor, R.N., to fit inside a pocket or wallet for ready retrieval, if needed, God forbid.

The author, a mother and well-known New York civil rights activist, first wrote the book in 1985 for the protection of her own young son. Her new edition starts with a brief introduction containing the sage advice from the Honorable Bruce Wright, an African-American judge who is controversial because because of his open indictment of the criminal justice system as biased against Black people.

Next, the text turns its attention to preparing you for a potential legal situation on the street by spelling out 30 common sense rules of engagement, such as not to run or walk down the block with a wallet, cell phone, beeper or anything which might easily be mistaken for a gun when held in your hand. The book also contains blank spaces to attach a photo, and to fill in one's blood type, allergies and other medical information. Plus, in case of arrest, there are areas for a lawyer's name and number and for a relative to contact in case of emergency.

What makes The Little Black Book so valuable is, first, it's mentally prepping Black kids for how to behave in the event of a detainment by the cops. Of equal importance is that it is small enough to carry at all times, to be readily available at a moment's notice during any very tense confrontation with the authorities. In case a child is too nervous to think clearly, this priceless pamphlet could easily be the difference between a policeman's prejudice or misunderstanding quickly degenerating to a matter of life and death.

At $2 each, I heartily recommend buying this book in bulk and sharing it with any African-American teenagers you care about.

Pennsylvania convicted for a murder he did not commit by the late

"hanging judge" Albert Sabo who was overheard speaking about "...frying

the nigger..." This year 2006 France named a street for Mumia Ab-Jamal)

If, as a person of color, you've spent a week in the U.S.A., "We Want

Freedom" is an absolutely necessary 'read' for your survival, in the

arenas (delineated by revolutionary Dr. Frances Cress Welsing) of

economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex

and war.

A prescient, deeply BlackAfrikan-spiritual journalist, Abu-Jamal states:

"The Black Political Party may indeed be history, but the forces that

gave rise to it are not. They wait for the proper season,

to arise again."

"We Want Freedom," in and of itself, is revolution and anyone interested in

a just society, who aspires to fierce, effective leadership in her/his

Investigation's paranoid CEO.

Probably even now, in 2006, with the news reports describing how the

un-President George W. Bush deploys his NSA spyBoys to surveil regular

(and 'irregular!') citizens, most folk don't believe 'their' government

would spy on them. Well, in graphic detail, Abu-Jamal gives irrefutable

evidence that the U.S.A. government's "hoovering" had eyes everywhere.

(I can personally attest to this - as the First Black U.S.A. Flight

Attendant, my FOIA - Freedom of Information Act request produced a

government set of spypapers nearly a foot high on many of my activities -

in three countries!)

Aside from describing "...America's addiction to whiteness..." and the

fact that "...it is possible that the Black Panther Party - which saw

itself as profoundly nonracist...could not appreciate the deep levels of

white supremacy that lay subsumed within much of the white left" and

other innumerable bits and pieces of vital information, Mumia Abu-Jamal

also reproduces the BPP 10 Point Program, which starts with "1. We want

freedom" and ends with #10 - "We want land, bread, housing, education,

clothing, justice and peace." (and the freedom to determine our own

BlackFolks' destinies!)

The fact that Hoovertypes of neocons these days still find problems, with

the idea of freedom and liberation, land and self determination for

people of color (nationally and internationally), starkly illustrates

that, as the compelling WeWant Freedom defines it - the United States of

Amerikkka has a long, long way to go in its publicly purported goal of

"democracy."

Be sure to get this book for your Black children.

OPEN LETTER TO KILLER-COP KENNETH BOSS

You, my little shameless epitome of white male supremacy, are making a laughingstock of the New York City Police Department by 'biting the hand that fed you' - suing them after you brought them into disrepute by murdering city residents you swore to protect.

You shot Black Brother Patrick Bailey to death in Brooklyn (you and the other thugs-in-blue stood by and allowed that melaninized young man to bleed to death only TWO MINUTES away from Brookdale Hospital!) - then you blustered on up to the Bronx with yer city-sanctioned killercop street unit to gun down (41 bullets!) unarmed Amadou Diallo in 1997, in front of his own dwelling as he was minding his own business entering his own home.

Now, only a few agonizing ('agonizing' because this racist/colorist sysDUMB of criminal 'justice' moved your 'trial' out of multi-colored Bronx up to all-white Albany so as to ensure that you and your blue-Assassins gang could walk free of the responsibility for slaughtering an innocent-of-any-crime Black African male) - after these agonizing years, you - understanding that the Black Panther Party is no longer organized to take out your sorry slaughtering ass - have the consummate gall to raise your stinkevil head in public and to - incredibly - gather your hoary legs under you to sue your former employer, the recalcitrant-when-it-comes-to-equity-for-BlackFolk, New York City Police Department.

It's truly BARF-TIME in Brooklyn. When I heard this on a newscast on WBAI Radio, I hadda' realquick call up my Son's saying to save my sanity:"Mum, huemans will do anything!" Well, I guess so! The adage, "What goes around comes aroung" is also applicable here: one the one hand, we've got New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly adamantly and continuously refusing to set up routine Racism/Colorism Quotient Testing (with Follow-Up Psych Counseling) of his racist/colorist police force - counterproductively 'looking the other way' as his rabid cops like you unendingly murder Black males with impunity, as he - your 'Leader,' spews out idiotic platitudes about "It wuz justified" and "It wuz just a terrible tragedy" and "It's not systemic' - ensuring the vicious continuation of Black male 'slaughter-by-cop' police terrorism against people of color!

On the other bloody hand, we - the ever-benighted Black community, hearing about your blatant disregard for our feelings as you show your evil face in public, have to stand for that kick in the ass as we await - ironically at the same fucking time, some delayed 'Grand' Jury decision on the unconscionable terror-slaughter, by 5 NYPD goons in blue, of the unarmed, unsuspecting, non-criminal 23 year old Black Sean Bell on his wedding day!

JESUS H. CHRIST! How long and how much are BlackFolk supposed to TAKE here in 'The Belly of The Beast' in these United Snakes of AmeriKKKA?

I am called today to do Jury Duty in a process which has been shown to be rife with racist/colorist discrimination and I appear under duress because I understand that no court in the United States of America can deliver equitable treatment to any person of color without first illustrating to the public that they are not dysfunctionally racist/colorist given the institutionally racist/colorist miseducation of the masses in this country.

I attach a copy of the Racism/Colorism Quotient Test of The Institute for "Interracial" Harmony, Inc., of which I am the President/Founder as evidence of the over twenty years spent educating the public as to the deleteriousness to the society at large of untreated, institutional racism/colorism.

To engage in what I consider a giant sham and deception of the public is against my nature and principles.

I do not believe that those who refuse to live in the same neighborhoods as people of color live have any right to make decisions about people of color - this makes no sense to me as a person of color imbued with common sense.

I cite as an egregious example of untreated racism/colorism's effect on court proceedings, the statement in Albany, NY of one of the jurors in the notorious "Amadou Diallo" murder trial:to the effect that the jurors did not consider "race" (they MEANT 'color') in their deliberations.

I consider the above example as an illustration of the mass insanity and mass denial about color.

There can be no equity in American courts until and unless court participants prove that they are not dysfunctionally racist/colorist.

While the put-upon people of the island of Vieques voted, overwhelmingly, for the United States to desist from it's sixty-plus years of bombing devastation, and a beloved, prominent Black African leader, The Reverend Al Sharpton languishes in federal prison at the Sunset Park Metropolitan Detention Center, here, in still-Black-for-now New York City Harlem ('Mid-town,' as WBAI Radio Manager Utrice Leid calls it), Bill Clinton, who steadfastly refused to end the U.S. Navy bombing of Vieques, prates to a put-upon dark public about being from a town called 'Hope,' - guess that means he's gonna "KEEP HOPE ALIVE! Keep hoping;don't do nothing biddies - keep hoping - while I continue to pull the wool over your stupid eyes, Blackfolk! As I talk about:

Meanwhile, the complete arrogance with which Clinton alluded to the homeland of probably over half of his obviously entranced, deluded, Black African listeners on Monday,July 30, 2001, the Caribbean, as 'America's "Back Yard," had to be heard to be believed. He also spoke romantically abut "indians," but neglected to mention his obdurate refusal to pardon the Indigenous warrior, FBI-framed Leonard Peltier.

But, for all of his 'feel-good' rhetoric, Clinton might have meant "unemployment cut," but I heard him say "employment cut by 50%!" The truth will out!

Here is a man who set up a weak, ineffective P.R. 'Task Force On Race,' (did he mean the human race?) and yet was the same Rhodes Scholar who devilishly had 'The Anti-Terrorism' bill enacted, which has targetted and returned to the Caribbean, so many Black (mostly male) victims to countries they do not know, relatives they do not have, jobs they can not get or even terrain they are unfamiliar with and meaningful existence they have no hope of obtaining. If asked, "Just whom do you think you're kidding, Billyboy?" - according to the local white-male-dominated press, apparently thousands of Black Harlemites!

So, Harlem's GREAT WHITE HOPE descends noisily onto 125th Street, with his 'funfare' and hornblowing, the local Gestapo (NYPD-paid by the taxpayers) stand in their Giuliani-geared-up thousands on the small-vendor-cleared street - the Black Africans, fearful of being 'gentrified' and dispossessed, watch their rents skyrocket, as "Cotton" (which they can't eat) comes (back) to Black-for-now Harlem.

For God's (and our own) sakes, Black people! - Connect the DOTS! - you don't see the irony? -whites in Zimbabwe, Africa (formerly Cecil Rhodes' - heh-heh - Rhodesia), squatting on over 85% of that Black African prime arable land:white Rhodes Scholar Clinton squatting on ?% of the For-now-Black Prime Midtown New York City-Harlem. This classic book had to be published – the truth had to be stated.

It has, con mucho gusto, by an African-born topnotch investigator, Ugandan veteran journalist Milton Allimadi, the incisive, clear thinking world affairs commentator, Publisher of New York City’s Black Star newspaper.

If words help to shape human behavior and deeds, and they do – then certainly, Allimadi’s well-chosen, descriptive quotes serve to reiterate the book’s important main focus on the racism (colorism) replete in white writers’ coverage. (Notice he doesn’t call them “journalists,” – many of whom contributed to the New York Times down through the years)

Quoting from his extensive ‘Sources’ list, he includes African Notebook by Albert Schweitzer, African Religions in Western Scholarship, by Ugandan Okot p ‘Bitek, Black Skins, White Masks, by Dr.Frantz Fanon, and Notes On The State of Virginia, by Thomas Jefferson, among others. These provide substantial grounding for Allimadi’s conclusion that, unlike news reports covering social unrest in Europe, (never, of course, “white-on-white crime”) similar unrest in Black Africa was always portrayed by white writers (and, unfortunately, by some low-self esteemed Black writers) as ‘tribal unrest’ and/or “Black-on-Black crime” – (an ultra-racist/colorist phrase).

One of the most harrowing aspects of Allimadi’s herculean and critical analysis of the misrepresentation of affairs in Africa is that those of us ‘Westerners’ who consider ourselves mightily literate and nicely well-read, have been arrogantly ignorant of how the white wool of color-biased reporting has been purposefully and continuously pulled over our eyes by writers who have been held up to us as “journalism’s finest.”

The Hearts of Darkness, thank veracity and goodness, has irretrievably snatched the wool off and illustrated, with vivid prose, that it’s really the truth - that’s ‘fit to print.’

Every ADHD and/or bipolar disorder or any psychiatric disorder death is the fault of (1) the DSM Committee of the American Psychiatric Association for contriving/inventing the entity in the first place and calling it, speaking of it, writing of it, publicizing it, and advertising it, as a brain disorder = chemical imbalance = disease; (2) of the Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration--FDA who represent such contrived brain disorders = chemical imbalances = diseases to be real, juxtaposing them in a medical-appearing, risk vs. benefit analysis against any and all drugs to be foisted upon the public by the pharmaceutical industry. Next—having gone through the charade of a hearing--the FDA speaks of these drugs as "safe and efficacious" for "ADHD", for bipolar disorder, or for whichever of the DSM psychiatric disorders (not a single one an actual disease) is under consideration. Here, from the pages of DSM-IV is the fine print of the disorder/disease fraud. In introduction, xxi., of the DSM-IV under the definition of Mental Disorder: “Although this volume is titled the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders., the term mental disorder unfortunately implies a distinction between “mental” disorders and “physical disorders that is a reductionistic anachronism of mind/body dualism. A compelling literature documents that there is much “physical” in “mental” disorders and much “mental” in “physical” disorders.”

Saying "there is much “physical” in “mental” disorders..." they have declared mental disorders to be physical abnormalities which is to say diseases and they have done so by declaration without having proved that any one of the 374 entries in the DSM has a confirming, demonstrable, demonstrated, physical abnormality--that which is the disease. For example, in diabetes mellitus, the elevated blood sugar is the disease, in cancer, the abnormal chromosomes within the nucleus--the microscopic abnormality, is the cancer.

What's more all psychiatrists have gone to medical school, they have studied all things normal--gross and microscopic anatomy, biochemistry; all thing abnormal (pathology = disease) and how to tell the difference. All become general physicians in the 4 years of medical school before starting specialty training, be that in psychiatry, neurology or pediatrics. Psychiatrists cannot, therefore, disavow knowledge of the charade--knowledge that not a single one of their DSM diagnoses is a disease. They know they have done no exam or test (lab, imaging, scan) that has proved an abnormality = disease is present. Their diagnoses are as much a parody of diagnosis as 6 year olds playing "doctor" and they know it and cannot disavow it. They know that the drugs they give—intoxications--are their every patient’s first and only disease. They know their drugs are the only source of physical risk, but they do it anyway, as the charade constructed for them by the APA-DSM committee and the Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee of the FDA is a sure and quick way to supporting themselves in the style to which they have become accustomed. It assures them a source of practice and income without end, for, regardless of the DSM label used it assuredly makes patients, usually life-time patients of every normal infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult and elder that comes through their door. They have full knowledge of this every step of the way as they prescribe drugs and other physical treatments that kill tens of thousands in the US every year.

These are the people responsible for the death of Rebecca Riley, not the parents who were, like all the rest of the nation, lied to, made "patients" of and poisoned--not "treated"--for the simple reason that they were entirely normal when drugged, just as surely as was 2 ½ year-old Rebecca Riley. Just as are Rebecca’s brother and sister, also labeled and poisoned. Just as are all of the millions of infants, toddlers and children in the US said to have ADHD and drugged; said to have bipolar disorder and drugged; said to have any psychiatric “chemical imbalance”/ “disorder”/ “disease” and drugged.

If, as a person of color, you've spent a week in the U.S.A., "We Want

Freedom" is an absolutely necessary 'read' for your survival, in the

arenas (delineated by revolutionary Dr. Frances Cress Welsing) of

economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex

and war.

A prescient, deeply BlackAfrikan-spiritual journalist, Abu-Jamal states:

"The Black Political Party may indeed be history, but the forces that

gave rise to it are not. They wait for the proper season,to arise again."

"We Want Freedom," in and of itself, is revolution and anyone interested in

a just society, who aspires to fierce, effective leadership in her/his

"We Want Freedom" is undeniably a 'Handbook for Liberation,' with its

insightful delving into the deviant colorist mentality of powerful

antagonistic figures like the late J. Edgar Hoover, Federal Bureau of

Investigation's paranoid CEO.

Probably even now, in 2006, with the news reports describing how the

un-President George W. Bush deploys his NSA spyBoys to surveil regular

(and 'irregular!') citizens, most folk don't believe 'their' government

would spy on them. Well, in graphic detail, Abu-Jamal gives irrefutable

evidence that the U.S.A. government's "hoovering" had eyes everywhere.

(I can personally attest to this - as the First Black U.S.A. Flight

Attendant, my FOIA - Freedom of Information Act request produced a

government set of spypapers nearly a foot high on many of my activities -

in three countries!)

Aside from describing "...America's addiction to whiteness..." and the

fact that "...it is possible that the Black Panther Party - which saw

itself as profoundly nonracist...could not appreciate the deep levels of

white supremacy that lay subsumed within much of the white left" and

other innumerable bits and pieces of vital information, Mumia Abu-Jamal

also reproduces the BPP 10 Point Program, which starts with "1. We want

freedom" and ends with #10 - "We want land, bread, housing, education,

clothing, justice and peace." (and the freedom to determine our own

BlackFolks' destinies!) (my emphasis)

The fact that Hoovertypes of neocons these days still find problems, with

the idea of freedom and liberation, land and self determination for

people of color (nationally and internationally), starkly illustrates

that, as the compelling "We Want Freedom" defines it - the United States of

Amerikkka has a long, long way to go in its publicly purported goal of

"democracy."

Euphemism reigns: like they're deathly afraid of 'calling a spade a spade,' YO! Like maybe alla' those human and civil rights organizations'll lose their socialtraction/standing if they 'tell it like it is' and call their organizations "Black" instead of the catch-all presumably progressive (but actually retrogressive) 'with it' "African!"

So we've got Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, heads of state, myriad ministers, protentous policticians, activist academicians speaking in euphemistic terms of "African-Americans and race," but actually meaning "Black" and "color," respectively (but not respectfully - it's diss-respectful to allBlackfolk, calling us outta' our names!)

WHAT are they so AFRAID of?

Then there are also the white maleDominated media-Folk in their bend-over-backward attempts at what they seem to believe is anti-racist rhetoric, in their meek followfashion parroting/echoing - "African American" - "race" ... amply illustrating what 'insanity' means: "the inability, (laziness?) or unwillingness to accept fact/reality." YES, I'm calling most of the mainstream mediafolk insane when it comes to color! They've ALL been mis-educated-in-Amerikkka about their antecedents (what happened BEFORE Europe - Booby?) - just like the rest of us misled lumpen proletariat!

Additionally, and this may be almost imperceptible to somefolk, when the word 'race' is used to allude to people of color - the users are automatically, by that usage, implying that Blacks and others of color are 'other than' belonging to the onehuemanrace. LISTEN!

What we have here, is pandemic, mass insanity which comes from purposeful miseducation about the hueman race and its origins. (Thank The Black God for the Philadelphia School Curriculum Board which just recently mandated African - they meant 'Black' - History in some of their schools!)

Follow closely please:

If, as has now been firmly, unequivocally, scientifically established, There is only one 'race'

and it began BLACK and in Africa, (the rest of us diasporic bits of huemanity have been more or less 'rinsed out') - then in terms of rational, deductive analytical reasoning, all of us huemans are not only descended from those original Africans, but, therefore, DUH! - are all 'African' - of African descent - irespective of color! (OOOH! - that nasty scary word!)

Consequently, not only clear-thinking activistFolk, but all of the aforementioned 'leaders,' if they are truly interested in equity, justice and 'hueman' rights, are gonna have to:

1. Shuck their linguistic timorousness/lassitude, 2. acknowledge publicly the 'oneness of huemanity,' and therefore 3. bring their language usage into the 21st Century!

For all of our sakes, let them STOP STOP STOP speaking incorrectly about 'race and class!' - IT'S COLOR and CLASS!!!
