Well, well, well - the white male mainstream media, in true and characteristic sensational fashion, pulled out all of its counterproductive, colorist and inaccurate language to 'cover' what WNBC TV Channel 4 called "Don Imus - After The Fall."
There's an old expression, "He tore his nose open," meaning 'he showed his true colors,' (pardon the pun). Some of those Sunday-morning-know-it-all-white-males did just that - they 'tore their noses open!'
If their rhetoric were not such a pitiful reflection on the state of color problems in the U.S.A. - it would be hilarious.
But no concerned-about-social-harmony person can laugh at the abysmal levels of ignorance constantly displayed by media directors, news directors, producers and presenters when it comes to the truth about the origins of huemanity.
For indeed, it is a little more comfortble to believe it is "levels of ignorance" rather than "levels of intent" when determining how it is that an entire supposedly highly intelligent perceptive and informed medium could continuously ignore/fail to acknowledge the fact of the Black African origin of hueman beings. (They should, each one, be given the www.racismtest.com and the results made public to the public they continue to mislead)
And yet, this group of mainly white males scandalously and continuously engages in its public cover up of that truth by its misleading use of racist, rejectionist rhetoric, amply illustrating that Don Imus is not the only racist/colorist addict in broadcast media.
According to Historian Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, Geneticist Dr. Spencer Wells, Psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Scientist-Researcher Dr. Keith Chang, there is only one hueman race - yet media miscreants persist - flying in the face of DNA evidence - in utilizing their retrograde rhetoric. The expressions ("Dateline" WNBC TV Channel 4) "...his own race..." "their own race..." "...interracial..." "different races..." flew throughout the news programs on Sunday morning (April 15, 2007) as though the presenters knew what they were talking about. No they didn't!
Actually, the ignorance about the issue of color in the U.S.A. (not even to mention the rest of the world) is, apparently, unlimited. Take for instance, the inaccurate rhetoric on WABC Channel 7 "World News With Charles Gibson" - speaking about "...all races..." This usage reveals a pitiful lack of awareness of the important work of the aforementioned historians and scientists. "Journey of Man," PBS video by Dr. Spencer Wells and the discovery by Dr. Keith Chang of 'the one race gene - SLC24A5' prove irrefutably that there's only one hueman race - no 's' on the end of the word 'race' when referring to huemans.
When Rev. Sharpton, politicians, academia and others too, so frequently misuse the word 'race' referring to Blacks and people/issues of color - they also mislead the public and their followers. This sorry state of affairs of color in the U.S.A. calls clearly for a new anti-racist/colorist accurate lexicon, but, as importantly, a series of public forums should first be held to help to re-educate the masses who are - to this day - mal-educated by our antediluvian racist/colorist education systems (with the exception of the Philadelphia school system which recently and commendably mandated 'African History' courses for its students)
Additionally, for Sunday's host of WNBC Channel 4's "Meet The Press," to tangentially drag in and lump the Rev. Jesse Jackson's "Hymie Town" remarks with the Rev. Al Sharpton's "Tawana Brawley" involvement, was not only demagogic but viciously racist/colorist and rendered a gratuitous slap in the face to concerned perceptive Black and other viewers of color and conscience who vociferously deplore the Imus colorist maligning of the talented female youngsters on the Rutgers Basketball team.
(I won't even mention racist/colorist Pat Buchanan's yowling the inappropriate word
"lynching" six or seven times)
Thank God for PBS TV Channel 13's Washington Correspondent Gwen Ifill, whose calm yet strong and incisive contributions to the usual 'Sunday-morning-all-white-male' postulations included her - perhaps inadvertently descriptive and all-inclusive - use of the term "COMPLICIT."
She sure said it all.

Conference Opening Statement: "The effects of white supremacy practices continue to appear hourly in print and electronic media. Additionally, crosses burned on lawns, swastikas painted on synagogues, preferential hiring and firing patterns and institutional racism in all of our major government and private offices continue as both subtle and obvious happenings."
This Conference, I must iterate and reiterate, was one of the most well-organized and 'on-the-mark' programs I've attended.
In addition, there was, throught the proceedings, an almost ineffable atmosphere of caring and concern and this was observed emanating not only from the organizers but also from the attentive and variegated audience. (I can only imagine what an epiphany this event must've inspired in many of those listening)
This Report will focus on my own Presentation, but, for information, I will briefly mention the other important contributions, to wit: Psychologist Dr. Robin Hindsman opened the Program with an 'Action Plan for Healing and Conquering' what she defined as 'Cultural Pain;' (I was the next Presenter with "Living The Color Lie: How Untreated Racism/Colorism Affects Everyone's Mental and Physical Health in America)."
Next came an extraordinary treat: Peter Buxtun was the man who 'broke open' the scurrilous Tuskeegee Syphilis Experiments scandal, and gave us bits of material not well known by the public about the extent of this outrage. We then went to a self-service lunch - held at an adjacent room with Staff and Presenters sitting together around a table animatedly talking with each other, providing a well thought out networking opportunity for us.
After lunch, a Panel of the aforementioned military veterans graphically and succintly and with pathos certainly communicated to everyone listening, related their painful and longlasting experiences of "racism in and out of the military," which had greatly impacted their lives. (I can still feel the influence of this part of the Program and sincerely hope that their testimonials will be forwarded on to the top Administrations of the U.SA. Marine Corps, the U.SA. Navy and the U.S.A. Army!)
This was a particularly 'hard act to follow,' but Rev. Osbourne Robinson's "Is It Slavery or Education:"certainly started out evocatively: (I say "started out" because, unfortunately, I had to leave for New York at this part of the Program and missed part of his Presentation and also that of Denise Vaughan's "Plans For The Future)."
(At the beginning of my own Presentation, I asked everyone to get out their pens, pencils and paper because they'd want to preserve some of my material for future use)
My "Living The Color Lie" began by illustrating "How Untreated Racism/Colorism Affects Everyone's Mental Health" by asking the entire assembly - "Who Here Is African?" (Most of them were Black) - this is always instructive - only about three of the entire audience raised their hands, however, one or two of the white folk did raise theirs. I told them that since huemanity began began Black and in Africa, as the Historian Cheik Anta Diop, Psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Historian Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, Geneticist Dr. Spencer Wells and others had established - all huemans were "...of African descent..." and therefore, African! (You could've measured the surprise)
I introduced our Racism/Colorism Quotient Test Program With Follow-Up Psychological/Psychiatric Counseling where indicated - for uncovering dysfunctional responses to differences in color and culture. (When I asked the audience if they'd like me to read one of the questions aloud they readily assented). Then I gave the Site: www.racismtest.com so they could log on to it later.
As another example of the effects on society by untreated racism/colorism, I described the ungodly arrest of Gerard, a seven year old Black youngster in their own city of Baltimore by the Baltimore police.
I read from my Blog - http://caroltaylorword.blogspot.com - the "OPEN LETTER TO NYPD POLICE COMMISSIONER RAY KELLY:" (who was also the Director of the U.S.A. Customs Department under whose watch a pregnant Black woman had been handcuffed to a hospital bed, force-fed laxatives and thereafter aborted her baby); the audience gasped.
I then introduced The Little Black Book and the reasons I wrote it - namely - the understated danger faced by Black males on this nation's streets and the unmitigated continuing slaughter of Black males - by this nation's police forces. (I had much more material but had to truncate my remarks in order to keep to my allotted hour and to allow for questions, which were forthcoming with alacrity)
I would like to end this Report with firm and appreciative thanks to Frank Katz, Sharon Kelly and the other Faculty and Commission members for inviting me to their Gordon Rapier 6th Annual Conference and especially for their vital contributions to societal healing on one of huemanity's last - and perhaps most important - frontiers.

MILK DOES NOT DO A BODY GOOD
"Milk:The Deadly Poison"

Most reportng in the mainstream media on health issues comes from public relations press releases sent to journalists working the health beat. One recent example is the Jane E. Brody report in The New York Times that calcium in the diet can come from a variety of sources. Ms Brody speaks only about the calcium in dairy products, and nowhere about the hormones, the antibiotics and the cow pus in nice cold glass of frothy milk. For that information we turn to the book, "Milk:The Deadly Poison" written by Robert Cohen. Long-time activist Carol Taylor gives us a review.
(Keep in mind as you read this Book Review, that we Black Africans are lactose intolerant - unable to digest milk;we are also on the lowest rung of the American health ladder!)
Now look up the definition of "Genocide." Part of growing up is the angst we feel when we discover that the authority figures we believe in are fallible. Robert Cohen's "Milk:The Deadly Poison" delivers one of the biggest, most devastating doses of instant maturity ever, with his graphic description of corporate (Montsanto) and federal (Food & Drug Administration) coverup and collusion. If this book doesn't stir you out of some of your ad eating habits, you might as well admit to having suicidal tendencies! Despite the immense media hype, especially on TV, that "Milk is a Health Kick," and despite Spike lee's (& others') milk mustaches, what "Milk:The Deadly Poison" boils down to (pardon the pun) is that milk and milk products - butter, ice cream, cream, yoghurt, cheese and the casein (milk glue) they're putting into everything for "binding," (including your favorite cans of tuna!) chemicals and hormones, to the unsuspecting public in America, including our babies and older children. Everything about "Milk:The Deadly Poison," eerily repetitive, is shocking:the red/yellow cover print, the Death's head on the red carton of milk, along with the ingredient list of "powerful growth hormones, cholesterol, fat, allergenic bovine proteins, insecticides, antibiotics, viruses and backteria." Adding tremendous credibility to this publication is the name of the person who writes the Foreword, Jane Heimlich, the wife of the famous Dr. Henry Heimlich, of "The Heimlich Maneuver" invention. She states, among other dynamite allegations, that "You may not want to hear this but what you've been told all your life about milk is an outright lie. I suspected that milk was a health disaster back in the Spring of '94. At that time, while researching an article for Health & Healing, a newsletter with a half million subscribers, I learned that the Food & Drug Amdinistration (FDA) had approved the use of a genetically-engineered hormone called "recombinant bovine growth hormone. (rBGH) The alleged purpose of the hormone, a $500 million investment on the part of the Montsanto Company, is to increase a cow's output. A more disturbing consequence of the bovine growth hormone is that it increases levels of a powerful growth hormone, IGF-I a key factor in the growth and proliferation of cancer. (My emphasis) From reporting on alternative medicine, I knew too well how the medical establishment can lie through its teeth. Reading this book, you will learn that milk contributes to heart disease and increases your risk of breast cancer. You will learn that milk is a poor source of calcium and why, and that milk is a prime cause of allergies (including asthmas) and much more. You will learn that milk can even kill your infant. (My emphasis) At times, this book reads like a detective story."
This impactful Foreword leads right into an even more dynamic Preface by the author, Robert Cohen, who describes how a young, Black lawyer, Clarence Thomas, used his influence while he was working for Montsanto (which has produced Agent Orange and Aspartame and the intra-uterine coil) to get the FDA to allow dairymen in the U.S. to inject milk cows with a bacterium
PLEASE! TELL THE PEOPLE ABOUT THIS! (ESPECIALLY THE PARENTS!)
from fecal material, e.coli, (you don't wanna know!) and a hormone, recombinant bovine growth hormone, so that the cows would give more milk and so that the dairymen would, therefore, make more money. (You should remember:One out of every eight women in America will develop breast cancer) Calcium in milk is not adequately absorbed. Milk consumption is probably the cause of osteoporosis. Sixty percent of America's dairy cows have leukemia virus. As a society, we have never been more overweight. By the time the average person in America reaches 52, he or she has consumed in milk and dairy products, the equivalent of cholesterol contained in 1 million slices of bacon. (My emphasis)
Milk hormones exert growth effects on humans. Cancer, heart disease, asthma, allergies and so much more, are all made possible by milk. America was told that milk from rbST-treated cows, (recombinant bovine somatotropin and e.coli bacteria) was identical to the milk that had been enjoyed for generations. That statement was untrue. (My emphasis) After cows were injected with this hormone, their milk contained increased levels of another hormone, insulin-like growth factor - I-(IGF), the most powerful growth hormone occurring in nature. rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone) is not approved in Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand or Europe. (My emphasis) Finally, if I reproduce all of the important information in "Milk:The Deadly Poison," I'd be reprinting the entire book. Anyone caring about their own and their childrens' their relatives' or their friends' lives, has got to read and digest the information (and not ingest milk or milk products!)
I cannot end this Review without this addition:"There is a group of chemicals, recently discovered, Prions (My emphasis) which can reproduce themselves without DNA. Prions have been passed on from cows to humans. Mad Cow Disease is a Prion disease. The scientific name for Mad Cow Disease is "Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis." After the first exposure to a Prion, the onset of disease might take up to 20 years to develop. Prions are tiny crystals which replicate themselves and slowly destroy the human brain until Alzheimer-like symptons develop.
A quote from Tim Lang in 1996, as Professor of Food Policy at Thames University:"We are in a mass experiment which is killing us. Never before have diseased ruminants (sheep) been fed to other ruminants (cows) and then fed to humans. We have interfered with the whole process of nature and what is now happening is one of our worst nightmares. This is a tragedy on a massive scale. The government has been so totally stupid."
Forewarned is (supposedly) forearmed. What does the government give out in BlackAfrikan neighborhoods? COW'S MILK;BUTTER;CHEESE...(WIC? Check out the hospitals and the schools too!) MILK DOES NOT DO A BODY GOOD!

Milk hormones exert growth effects on humans. Cancer, heart disease, asthma, allergies and so much more, are all made possible by milk. America was told that milk from rbST-treated cows, (recombinant bovine somatotropin and e.coli bacteria) was identical to the milk that had been enjoyed for generations. That statement was untrue. (My emphasis) After cows were injected with this hormone, their milk contained increased levels of another hormone, insulin-like growth factor - I-(IGF), the most powerful growth hormone occurring in nature. rBGH (recombinant bovine growth hormone) is not approved in Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand or Europe. (My emphasis) Finally, if I reproduce all of the important information in "Milk:The Deadly Poison," I'd be reprinting the entire book. Anyone caring about their own and their childrens' their relatives' or their friends' lives, has got to read and digest the information (and not ingest milk or milk products!)
I cannot end this Review without this addition:"There is a group of chemicals, recently discovered, Prions (My emphasis) which can reproduce themselves without DNA. Prions have been passed on from cows to humans. Mad Cow Disease is a Prion disease. The scientific name for Mad Cow Disease is "Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis." After the first exposure to a Prion, the onset of disease might take up to 20 years to develop. Prions are tiny crystals which replicate themselves and slowly destroy the human brain until Alzheimer-like symptons develop.

I MUS' DEFEND IMUS:
Don't fire 'im!
O.K., before you lose it over that heading - read on!
Even though it seems like every Tom, Dick and Harriett's 'having their say' about the Imus "Nappy-headed ho's and jigaboos," and to a person is calling for the broadcaster to be fired - if they're not absolutely hypocritical, they'll stop calling for his resignation or firing.
Why? Because if they're gonna' fire him they should fire everyone else because - look out now - every single person who's been through the U.S.A. 'education' system is to some degree or other - racist/colorist!
So, if he's fired, it'll be because he was stupid enuff to 'air' his affliction - but he's not the only person infected with the disease of colorism! Treat the symptom and not the disease - Hey Folk? So you'll ALWAYS have something to carp about...
I maintain that this 'immediate-gratification' short-sighted short-term stop-gap 'punishment' is counterproductive; he, and every other employee in this racist/colorist society, should be www.racismtest.com -ed and where dysfunctional responses to differences in color and culture are uncovered - be referred to psychological or psychiatric counseling where indicated!
After all, alcoholics are referred by managements to counseling treatment and not fired - unless they refuse to go; the very same handling of intemperate folk like Imus should be the 'way to go.'
This huge brouhaha, over the ugly unfeeling words of Imus, could be an extraordinary opportunity for this colorist society to set up widespread RACISM/COLORISM QUOTIENT TEST PROGRAMS http://www.racismtest.com in every single arena of people activity: economics, entertainment, education, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war (list-categories thanks to Psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing).
Unless this entire society is treated for its inherited/untreated colorism, events such as the current todo over Imus will continue to crop up. Are we supposed to KNEEJERK-RESPOND in kind every damn time someone - who, like the rest of us - has been conditioned by an institutionally racist/colorist miseducation system which obdurately refuses to tell its students about their BlackAfrican origins - 'bops out' with colorist commentary?
Gimme' a freakin' BREAK! Instead of doing the gutbucket continuous hardwork extirpating the damn disease of colorism from folk - teaching the TRUTH about themselves and history, this society seems to prefer the ABSOLUTE HYPOCRISY of 'teapotting-in-a-storm' jumping on the specious bandwagon of calling for a 'firing' as though Imus is the ONLY untreated racist/colorist out there!
So, NO, I am NOT for firing Imus! I am for taking this HotOpportunity (because of the widespread publicity attending 'his off-color' remarks) to start a National Campaign for Racism/Colorism Quotient-TESTING with Follow-Up Counseling of everyone who makes decisions about others in this society - ESPECIALLY within the 'justice system,' and definitely with those rampaging, racist/colorist COPS, who have the power of life and death over folk - AND UNLIKE IMUS, CAN AND DO END THE LIVES OF BLACK MALES AND OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOR - ON A WHIM AND WITH IMPUNITY!
