Dear Ms. Quinn,

Thank you for the August 6, 2007 scattergun form letter you sent to me. I very

much appreciate (in the older sense of that word) appreciate being so facilely

relegated by you to the 'just-one-of-the-noisy-crowd' category. However,

I can't allow you to slither out from under the rock of accountability so easily;

your letter had not one whit to do with responding to the two salient points

in my first letter to you dated July 16, 2007. In that letter, I specifically stated that

I was not responding directly to your (illegal) treatment of Ms Viola Plummer

(a judge'll deal with that), yet in your letter to me you refer to "...litigation pending

involving Ms. Viola Plummer!

I reiterate herein, my allusion to "...the vicious level of untreated racism/colorism within you which caused you not only to publicly expose yourself as deeply infected/fettered by this society's racist/colorist conditioning, but to, consequently, cause long term and divisive harm to the Council of which you are an administrative part." And I repeat the offer to help heal that disease with the www.racismtest.com with Follow-Up psychiatric/psychological Counseling until the direly-needed healing is effected - for you and your City Council members.

In Expectation of receiving a direct response to the above remedial offer,

(There is only one race---the hueman race; there is no "s" at the end of the word "race." In fact and in truth, the concept of "race" is bogus; recent DNA studies have proven that we are all descended from the same, beautiful, blue-black, first-on-the-earth hueman beings in Africa - therefore, we hueman beings are all African; some of us may be a little less or more 'rinsed out' thatn others --we've evolved into varying colors--but we're all interrelated--one family--the hueman family. So, there is no meaning to such divisive terms as, "interracial," "bi-racial," "transracial," "multiracial," "races," or "out of your race!" This classic book had to be published – the truth had to be stated.

It has, con mucho gusto, by an African-born topnotch investigator, Ugandan veteran journalist Milton Allimadi, the incisive, clear thinking world affairs commentator, Publisher of New York City’s Black Star newspaper.

If words help to shape human behavior and deeds, and they do – then certainly, Allimadi’s well-chosen, descriptive quotes serve to reiterate the book’s important main focus on the racism (colorism) replete in white writers’ coverage. (Notice he doesn’t call them “journalists,” – many of whom contributed to the New York Times down through the years)

Quoting from his extensive ‘Sources’ list, he includes African Notebook by Albert Schweitzer, African Religions in Western Scholarship, by Ugandan Okot p ‘Bitek, Black Skins, White Masks, by Dr.Frantz Fanon, and Notes On The State of Virginia, by Thomas Jefferson, among others. These provide substantial grounding for Allimadi’s conclusion that, unlike news reports covering social unrest in Europe, (never, of course, “white-on-white crime”) similar unrest in Black Africa was always portrayed by white writers (and, unfortunately, by some low-self esteemed Black writers) as ‘tribal unrest’ and/or “Black-on-Black crime” – (an ultra-racist/colorist phrase).

One of the most harrowing aspects of Allimadi’s herculean and critical analysis of the misrepresentation of affairs in Africa is that those of us ‘Westerners’ who consider ourselves mightily literate and nicely well-read, have been arrogantly ignorant of how the white wool of color-biased reporting has been purposefully and continuously pulled over our eyes by writers who have been held up to us as “journalism’s finest.”

The Hearts of Darkness, thank veracity and goodness, has irretrievably snatched the wool off and illustrated, with vivid prose, that it’s really the truth - that’s ‘fit to print.’

(This article appeared in the Daily Challenge newspaper - under 'Guest Editorial,' Wednesday, September 5, 2001 - but the import is so current, so 'on point,' I couldn't help re-'playing ' it!)

We are here in New York City - right? Where the Census shows tht the numbers of people of color are far greater than the numbers of whites - just like the numbers of people of color the world over are far greater than the world's numbers of whites.

So, how come in New York City, politicians, pundits, professionals including anchor people and journalists, keep calling us "minorities?" Can't they count? (Or pay attention to the Census figures?)

Insanity is defined as the inability (unwillingness?) to deal with reality. We can understand society's unwillingness to deal with change; we might even be able to understand plain laziness and inertia, but when the evidence that the majority of people in this city is in-your-face mucho melanin, what is the excuse for not admitting the truth of the numbers?

One of the starkest illustrations of either colorblindness or perhaps they're sending "us" a message, is the article (front page, Monday August 27, 2001) by Erica Goode, writer for The New York Times. Would you believe her article had the word "minority" fifteen times? My college professor (English composition) at Elmira College, Dr. Kharl, taught us that one, if possible, does not usually use the same word in an article more than once or twice! Is there a not-so-subtle message we people of color are supposed to get from such redundancy?

Another illustration of color dissonance occurs regularly on WABC Channel 7 newscasts. One evening, on the five o'clock news, I counted seven "minorities" in the newscast! Are 'these people' trying to send us subliminal messages? What about the woman who used the term "majority-minority" (mimicking the former NYPD Police Commissioner, Bratton, who also used that phrase) on WBAI Radio Pacifica last week? DUH! Insanity reigns!

We, the Majority folk in New York City (And the world -especially at this week's United Nations World Conference Against Racism) need to stand up and loudly proclaim, "We Are The Majority!"

And every time we hear or see those recalcitrant folk using that "M" word to describe us - we should send them the following admonition:

"You are invited to join the 21st Century!

STOP calling us People of Color - The world's Majority - 'minority!'

OUTRAGEOUS SLINGS & ARROWS OF UNTREATED RACISM/COLORISM:

The Illegal Martyring of BlackAfrikan Attorney Alton H. Maddox, Jr.

When one learns that, Mr. Maddox, Jr. - with more researched legal knowledge than all of his predators put together - is the only lawyer in American jurisprudence who has been given consecutive sentences for an alleged offense - suspended from the practice of law without a hearing since 1990 - disbarred without notice and without a hearing, valid questions must be asked and strong actions must be taken!

His Civil Rights appeal in the U.S.A. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit'll be heard "...no earlier than the week of 9/24/07."

Where are the other Black attorneys' actions in righteous concern for the due process and fair treatment of their Brother Black Attorney? Where are their public statements and publications in support of Mr. Maddox, Jr. - even in the consideration of their own self-interest : there but for the Grace of God THEY go!

You should be aware that other attorneys - white of course, have been indicted for various offenses, sentenced, fined and jailed and have emerged to subsequently re-enter their law practices - not Black Activist Attorney Maddox; even the disgraced attorney/Judge Sol Wachtler, punished - serving a sentence for criminal offense against a 14 year old daughter of his ex-paramour - out and practicing law! Not Black Attorney Activist Alton H. Maddox, Jr.!

What is the difference between these 'loosed' criminal attorneys and Attorney Alton H. Maddox? What could it be? With only a few exceptions (mostly Black mediaFolk) the 'mainstream' (read-'white') mediapeople have consistently refused to cover this extraordinary situation of one of America's foremost, talented, principled, capable, remarkable, much-admired-by-his-legal-counterparts Black Afrikan Warrior Attorney! WHY?

What is the reason for this exceptional, conspiratorial, persistent, predatory, condemnatory, targetting, racist/colorist, colorphobic treatment of a singularly outspoken, brave, talented Black man? And he is Black - as heard only in Barbados, West Indies one day - "dark" Black! Could that be the reason for such protracted and obvious enmity?

Could the fact that Attorney Alton H. Maddox, Jr. wears the gloriously deep color of Blackness - coupled with his oft-stated unwillingness to go down on bended knee to those who feel that because of their 'rinsed out' melanin skins, they deserve submissive behavior from darker folk? Is the untreated racism/colorism so epidemic within the so-called 'justice system' so embedded, so irrational and so entrenched in individuals that to even mention the possibility of such pathology is an untenable matter that white mediapeople who call themselves fearless and progressive absolutely fear to raise?

That this outrageous treatment of a Black professional person is of prime interest to thousands of citizens (and non-citizens) is not to be gainsaid. What is singularly remarkable is the 'white media silence' surrounding Mr. Maddox and his singularly repressive treatment by those sworn to uphold American laws.

And just exactly what is the operative issue here with the OVER SEVENTEEN YEAR 'LEGAL' EXILE OF ATTORNEY ALTON H. MADDOX, JR?!!! People of conscience, of good will, of belief in equitable treatment for hueman beings and TRUTHCENTRICITY want to know!

Too many folk within the boundaries of the United States of America believe that the Jim Crow labeling and subsequent lynch-treatment of "uppity negroes" is over. Evidently this 'ain't necessarily so!'

What Attorney Alton H. Maddox, Jr. has been and is still going through - just doesn't pass the 'smell Test!'

When 'they' do it to him - they're doing it to Blackyou and Blackme - don't fool yourself: white male supremacist colonialism reigns!

Dear Christine:

Re:City Council ColorPhobia

I am prompted to write this missive by my sincere compassion for you in the midst of the unsavory colorist stew into which you've - I'm sure inadvertently - placed yourself.

I hasten to assure you that this has nothing directly to do with the attempt by BlackFolk to name Gates Avenue in their community for 'Sonny Carson,' Viola Plummer, NYC Councilmen Leroy Comrie, or Charles Barron.

The central, important issue, and the one with which I am primarily concerned, is the vicious level of untreated racism/colorism within you, which caused you not only to publicly expose yourself as deeply infected/fettered by this society's racist/colorist conditioning, but to, consequently, cause long term and divisive harm to the Council of which you are an administrative part.

Because, in my more than twenty years of studying, researching and counteracting such untreated racism/colorism with the Institute for "Interracial" Harmony, Incorporated, "Prejudice Is Learned - It Can Be Unlearned," "Many colors - One race," I have well-learned that destructive, pathological racism/colorism cuts right across an individual's intellect. A person, such as yourself, otherwise very bright, and although having gone through certain persecution, can and often does, engage in truly counterproductive and negative thinking and behavior despite having borne the brunt of such personal persecution on the basis of professed sexual proclivity.

You, along with the folk you've unfairly targetted because of their color, are also victimized by your own behavior toward them - and perhaps you weren't even aware of it, which makes me pity you even past my immediate and distinct opprobrium to your actions.

Your obvious colorphobic behavior is a stark public example of the dire need for the widespread, continuous anti-colorist, formal utilization in this society's institutions like yours of our www.racismtest.com with Follow-Up psychiatric/psychological Counseling until the necessary healing is achieved.

Well, there they go again - racist/colorist white-skin-privileged males in the 'Supreme' Court (along with wannabe-white only Black Clarence Thomas) have reinforced segregation in the schools! (in their brainwhitewashed minds and in those minds of similarly coloristically-conditioned U.S.A. residents, that is) Big deal.

Echoes abound of "...turned back the clock on Brown vs Board of Education!..." "...destroyed diversity!..." "...done a great disservice to education in the United States!..." Total poppycock.

In their pitiful discourse, they utilize mistaken inaccurate terms like 'racial,' 'color-blindness,' etc. AWK! (refer to my Blog 'Many colors - One race)

Then you got the totally-misguided discussion Saturday June 30, 2007, on Channel 13 -PBS's "To The Contrary," by a bunch of multi-ethnic females, parrotting expressions of 'race neutral,' (what the hell's that?) 'racial neutrality, (eh?) 'race' and also "color-blindness." Needless to say, they, in discussing the 'Supreme' Court decision, came up with no solution for what they alluded to as 'a setback' for U.S.A. school 'diversity.' (Another euphemism/obfuscation)

Of course they didn't! We in the U.S.A.'ve been so thoroughly conditioned to consider all Black anything as 'inferior,' or 'not as good as' or 'counterproductive' or not 'diverse enough,' that we can't see the forest for the trees. The 'forest' is the monumental (and tiresome) effort afoot to maintain white male supremacy in every area of people activity - listed here as tribute to Black female Psychiatrist Dr. Frances Cress Welsing: education, economics, entertainment, labor, law, politics religion, sex and war. This psychopathic effort at maintaining white male supremacy, she says, is reflective of a recognized, and sometimes subliminal at other times, fervid, frenzied, frantic fear of genetic annihilation.

This fear is fueled by a genuine and not-so-genuine feeling/belief that there's 'something wrong,' 'inferior' with a skin showing observable melanin! That deep-seated epidemic/pandemic pathology pervades societies in spite of numerous scientific revelations establishing findings which show - irrefutably - that huemanity began Black - in Africa - and that not only are all huemans, irrespective of superficial differences, inter-related, but belong to one, repeat, one 'race.'

Yet, time after backward-leaning time, professors, preachers, politicians, pundits - reveal their gross ignorance of themselves, their ancestors, their respective societies and, in fact, of this entire world's origins.

This ignorance is certainly not 'Bliss;' it perpetuates racist/colorist thinking and behavior, continuous unravelling of societal progress, corrosive conflicts and even international wars.

Every hueman being on earth (especially those colorist 'Supreme' Court Judges) needs to take the www.racismtest.com and engage in protracted, Facilitator-controlled discussions about untreated racism/colorism and its ongoing negative effects on society.

In the sacred names of cop-slain males of color within the boundaries of the United States of America - too many to herein list -(Ref. to THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK: Black Male Survival in America: Staying Alive & Well in an Institutionally RACIST Society Fermin Arzu - shot in his back by a cop in the Bronx): the significance of this fact cannot be over-emphasized: something macabre, sinister and deadly must be operating in the minds of the police persons who 1. decide at confrontation-times NOT to shoot white males in the back and 2. those who decide to shoot Black and other males of color in the back.

It cannot, therefore, be gainsaid that something orgiastically pathological in nature is exerting a grossly destructive effect on the thinking and behavior of police operatives in this country. (Systematic colorist conditioning - by both the society and the respective police departments?) This destruction affects not only the recipients of that colorist thinking and behavior, but just as surely also redounds upon the police perpetrators - and their families.

This deadly rotting-away of the fabric of society must be acknowledged, ferreted out and treated on a continuous basis, which is why, for over twenty years now, the Institute for "Interracial"* Harmony, Incorporated, (Motto: "Prejudice Is Learned - It Can Be Unlearned") has been petitioning the New York City Police Department - through successive NYPD Police Commissioners - you name 'em - Brown, Ward, Bratton, Kelly - to incorporate the www.racismtest.com as a tool to foment healthy dialogue in a non-threatening atmosphere, with follow-up psychological/psychiatric counseling specifically-aimed at helping their individual police officers to deal effectively with the racist/colorist societal and departmental conditioning which causes so many of them to act out negatively (and their police colleagues not to intervene!) when in on-duty confrontational situations with civilians (and, it should be noted - even with their own police associates - for instance- cop-shot Black Police Officer Desmond Robinson)

To date, aside from cursory public statements that they "...don't tolerate..." racism/colorism within the ranks and that they have a fully operative psychology department within the NYPD, the epidemic "us and them" and "blue-wall-of-silence" phenomena have prevented the NYPD Administrations from holding public (or even private) meetings to specifically address why it is and how to prevent/end the United States of America's National Crisis - of Black and other males of color - being beaten,
tasered, shot and
"DYING-BY-COP!"

*Quotation marks are around this word because - during our years-long dealing with and learning about untreated racism/colorism, we at I"I"H Inc. discovered that there is no meaning to that word; 'many colors - one race.'
